About Sounds in Space
Sounds in Space is an immersive project that explores the transformative power of sound through technology and ceremonial concerts. Our multi-channel mobile installations are designed to guide participants into transcendence, introspection, and connection, expanding their perception of themselves as polyphonic beings. By harmoniously integrating shamanic traditions, Hindu spirituality, and modern electronic soundscapes, we create transformative sonic journeys that bridge the ancient and contemporary, the earthly and the cosmic.
Our project is deeply rooted in scientific research, particularly in the fields of psychoacoustics, neuroscience, and sound therapy. We've explored how specific frequencies, brainwave entrainment, and immersive multi-channel sound influence perception and consciousness. Our approach also integrates insights from research on sound-induced altered states, heart-brain coherence, and ancient sonic traditions. We continuously refine our practice by studying how sound can activate different states of awareness and healing responses.
To achieve this, we utilize a nine-speaker surround setup featuring Genelec monitors, renowned for their precision and clarity. This configuration enables us to deliver spatial audio experiences that envelop listeners, creating a sense of immersion and depth. The strategic placement of these speakers ensures optimal sound distribution, allowing us to craft intricate soundscapes that resonate with the environment and the audience. This setup not only enhances the auditory experience but also fosters a deeper connection between the listener and the sonic journey.
Our experiences
Our ceremonial concerts weave together live music, ritual, and intention, guiding participants on an immersive sensory journey. It begins with a live performance, fostering presence and connection among all attendees. This is followed by a pre-recorded sound installation, meticulously crafted from our exclusive archive of all-original field recordings and ancient instruments, captured in Mexico and various other locations. These compositions combine shamanic traditions, Hindu spirituality, and modern electronic soundscapes to create an enveloping and deeply transformative auditory experience. Designed to guide participants into deep introspection, the concerts encourage personal insights and a profound sense of unity with the cosmos—bridging the ancient and contemporary, the earthly and the cosmic.
Testimonials
The sound immersion facilitated by Sounds In Space literally allowed me to dive deep within myself and explore wounds I wasn't even aware I carried. Their approach created a safe space where I felt heard, guided, and free to release buried emotions. It's so much more than a simple sound journey, it's a reconnection with oneself.

The sound immersion is truly a unique experience! It's one of the most profound feelings I've ever had in my life. The connection with the sound of Sounds In Space allowed me to discover a new dimension of life, a rebirth. After this sound immersion, I thanked who I was, admired who I am becoming, and loved who I am. This experience taught me to let go and discover calm: to stop doing and simply allow myself to be. If I were to summarize my learning in one phrase: I found peace in the chaos. Thank you so much for this experience, which I will remember for the rest of my life!

The gift of discomfort. For over an hour, I sat blindfolded, fully immersed in the 360-degree sounds of ancient healing music. The sound journey was undeniably beautiful, yet i felt trapped at times, wanting to leave. In that moment of discomfort, I asked myself why i wanted to escape. That simple question led me to reflect deeply on myself. and through sitting with the discomfort, I discovered a profound sense of inner peace and compassion. It became a moment of growth and self-awareness that i hadn't anticipated.

It was an incredible journey, and I can't thank you enough for this experience. It was painful at times, I drifted into places I didn't expect and confronted things I knew, deep down, I needed to face. Toward the end of my journey, I saw a woman digging into the earth, searching for light, and I kept telling her, Look up, look up to the sun. I believe I experienced a third eye chakra opening. Lights danced before my closed eyes, even behind my mask, and when I finally removed it, they were still there.
